The things people ask first.

Can we add or remove team members later?

Yes. On Team and Business plans an admin can invite new people by email and remove seats at any time from the dashboard. You can move up a plan whenever you outgrow your seat count, and the change is prorated.

What happens to our projects if we cancel?

Your projects stay available to export throughout your billing period. Before you cancel you can download every project as an Excel bill of quantities so nothing is lost. We'll never hold your data hostage.

Do I need to install anything?

No. QtyLite runs entirely in your web browser on any modern machine — Windows, Mac or otherwise. There's nothing to install and nothing tied to a single computer.

What drawing formats can I use?

PDFs and common image formats. QtyLite reads the drawing's own scale detail and calibrates itself on upload, so measurements read in real-world units straight away — and you can set the scale manually against a known dimension whenever you need to. CAD files aren't read directly yet: export or print to PDF from your CAD program and upload that.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days with the full toolset, no card required to start. If you don't add a payment method by the end of the trial, your account simply pauses — we won't charge you automatically without you choosing a plan.

Is it a replacement for full estimating software?

It's focused on measuring — pulling quantities off a drawing and into Excel quickly. If you need full BIM or integrated cost planning, the big suites still have their place. QtyLite is for the everyday measuring that shouldn't need all of that.
